A photo-etched detail set for the destroyer IJN Kagero (1941) in 1:700 scale from Tetra Model Works. A collection of photo-etched parts for sharpening up a ship kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a detail accessory, not a kit. The set from Tetra Model Works holds photo-etched parts with which you lift the detail of a plastic kit of the Japanese destroyer Kagero in her 1941 state in 1:700 scale. It typically replaces railings, ladders, radar screens, platforms and fine booms.
The Kagero was the lead ship of the class of the same name of Japanese destroyers, developed before the Second World War. They were marked out by good speed, heavy torpedo armament and wide deployment in the first years of the war in the Pacific. The 1941 state matches the early configuration.
Separate the photo-etched parts, shape them along the bends and glue them on with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Work from the large platforms toward the fine railings. Degrease the surfaces and apply a primer before painting. The set is meant for experienced ship modelers.
This is an accessory (a detail set), not a model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
