A plastic kit of the Aero MB-200 bomber in 1:72 scale from Smer. The Aero MB-200 is the Czechoslovak licensed version of the French MB.200 bomber, built by the Aero company. The model differs from the French original above all in the national markings offered. It is supplied as injection-molded plastic with a decal sheet.
The MB.200 was a French twin-engine bomber of the 1930s, a high-wing monoplane with fixed landing gear and a boxy fuselage. Alongside production in France it was also built under license in the Czechoslovak Republic, where the Aero company made it under the designation MB-200. In its day it was a standard bomber that illustrates well the transition between the older and the more modern concept of bombing aircraft.
Assemble the cockpit and the interior equipment before closing up the fuselage, and fill and sand the boxy joints. Mask the glazing and the gun turrets before spraying. Flat camouflage shades with discreet weathering suit the period look. Glue the engines, landing gear and propellers at the end of the build. To set it apart from the French version, pay attention to the correct Czechoslovak markings.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
