An injection-molded plastic kit of a railroad platform intended for armored train consists, from the Ukrainian brand UM. It is a flatcar that served to carry equipment and materiel or as a weapons carrier within an armored train. The model will fill out a diorama of a military railroad.
Armored trains were used in the Second World War and in the interwar period for the protection of lines, for reconnaissance and for fire support. Flatcars in their consists made it possible to carry armored vehicles or guns and to protect the crew and the load. The real subject corresponds to a period railroad vehicle of this type.
Separate the parts from the sprues and glue them with cement for plastic. Assemble the frame structure of the car on a flat surface so that the model does not warp. Dark green and gray shades of period equipment suit the finish; pigments and washes will add rust, dust and mud on the chassis. The model shows well on a section of model track of the matching scale.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
