An injection-molded plastic kit of the Bristol Beaufighter Mk. VIF heavy night fighter in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer Hobby 2000. The box is based on a proven injection mold of Japanese origin and is supplemented with high-quality Cartograf decals and masks for the glazing. It focuses on the aircraft of No. 307 Polish Night Fighter Squadron of 1942.
The Beaufighter was a British twin-engined heavy fighter and night fighter, valued for its heavy armament and its toughness. The Mk. VIF version with Bristol Hercules engines served as a radar-equipped night fighter. With No. 307 (Polish) Night Fighter Squadron, nicknamed the Lwów Eagle Owls, it protected British airspace against German night raids.
Glue and clean up the canopy glazing precisely; the masks included make spraying the frames cleanly easier. We recommend a primer base, an airbrush and a gloss clear coat under the decals. The night scheme benefits from a fine gradation of the black and dark shades, so that the model does not look flat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
