A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand, made by Aires, in 1:72 scale. This is not an aircraft model but a stand-alone part with which you replace or complete the interior gun cover of the Bf 109G version. The fine resin rendering refines the shape of the part compared with the plastic from a kit.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G, nicknamed Gustav, was a German single-seat fighter of the Second World War. It was powered by a liquid-cooled inverted V12 Daimler-Benz engine. The fuselage armament was placed in the forward part of the fuselage under covers.
Wash the mold release residue off the part, carefully separate the casting block and bond it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The detail comes alive once it is lightly shaded. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
