This resin set brings a precisely cast horizontal tail surface, the stabilizer, for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in the G and K versions in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic parts of a kit and refines the shape and the surface texture of the tail surfaces.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was a German single-engine fighter of the Second World War; the late G and K versions were among the most widely built. On these machines the horizontal tail surface was not braced by struts, and its exact shape is one of the characteristic recognition features of the late variants.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Mind that both halves are seated symmetrically, so that the tail is not twisted. Sand resin with respiratory protection and use a primer before painting.
This is an accessory for a model, not a stand-alone kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
