This sheet from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models is intended for a model of the Bf 109 F-4/b, that is the fighter version adapted to carry bomb loads. According to the name it offers three finish variants. It is a decal accessory in its own right for a model in 1:72 scale, not a kit.
The Bf 109 F family brought an aerodynamically cleaner shape than the earlier versions: rounded wingtips, a deeper engine cowling, a reworked radiator and the tailplane bracing struts deleted. The subversion marked with the letter b was intended for ground attack work and carried a rack for a bomb under the fuselage, which also means different details of armament and sometimes a more subdued working appearance for the aircraft. It is precisely this subversion that is less common among modelers than the ordinary fighters of the F family.
In 1:72 scale the designs are small and fragile, so work with flat-jawed tweezers and always over a smooth gloss clear coat. After soaking, let the decal rest on the paper and only then slide it onto the model. Settle the small codes and insignia with a soft brush and a softener, so that they follow the engraved lines. Once dry, go over the model with matte varnish and if you like add fine scuffs and exhaust staining.
