Note that this is neither an ordinary canopy mask nor a kit. It is a set of self-adhesive masks in 1:72 scale that covers the whole camouflage pattern of the upper surfaces of the British Boulton Paul Defiant Mk.I fighter in the mirror scheme B. The maker is the Czech firm Peewit.
The RAF used two mirror camouflage patterns for day fighters, A and B. Drawing the dividing lines between the two shades of the upper camouflage by hand is the hardest part of painting. These masks lay out the shape of the fields exactly, so you can spray a sharp (or slightly softened) transition precisely to the period pattern B.
