An unconventional accessory for a model of the Douglas A-1 Skyraider attack aircraft. The set contains resin parts, photo-etched sheet and decals with which you fit the famous toilet converted into a bomb, together with its rack, to the model. It is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a model in its own right.
The story of the dropped toilet is one of the best-known curiosities in aviation. During the Vietnam War the crew of an American Skyraider really did fasten a discarded toilet bowl to a bomb rack and drop it as a joke bomb. The set renders that scene faithfully in scale and turns the model into a rewarding conversation piece.
Wash the resin parts free of the mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks, and bend the photo-etched parts over an edge. Glue everything with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply the decals over a smooth gloss surface and fix them with a matte varnish. Leave the toilet in a white shade and match the rack to the color of the aircraft.
The set is an accessory for a plastic kit. The base model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
