A resin kit of the Czechoslovak battery-powered EP 006 platform truck, popularly called the jesterka (the lizard), in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Brassica. The short-run model contains quality resin castings and is intended for more experienced modelers. It is built as an unassembled kit.
Jesterka is the popular name for the low electric platform trucks that served for decades to move materials in halls, at railroad stations, in warehouses and in works. They were powered by a storage battery, thanks to which their operation was quiet and free of emissions. The compact platform truck was often supplemented with trailer carts and became an inseparable part of the industrial and army support facilities of the period.
Wash the release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks away and clean them up gently (sanding with respiratory protection). Glue with cyanoacrylate (super) glue. A small model rewards a careful base coat, an airbrush and bringing out the detail with a wash; pigments and light weathering will give the truck a faithful working look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
