HAD models 1:72 decals for the Fiat CR.42 with the serial designation V202 are a sheet of waterslide decals for one particular machine.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of waterslide decals for a plastic kit, not a model of the aircraft. The set is focused on one particular Fiat CR.42 with the serial designation V202, that is, on a single traceable machine instead of a general scheme from the box. CR.42 kits appear repeatedly in 1:72 scale, but the choice of schemes in them tends to be narrow, and that is exactly why separate decal sheets pay off.
The Fiat CR.42 was an Italian single-seat biplane fighter with a radial engine, taken into service at the end of the 1930s. It was the last generation of biplane fighters, one that was already facing all-metal monoplanes of markedly higher speed. The machine had fixed landing gear, fabric covering on the control surfaces and an open cockpit, and in building a model those are precisely the places where the quality of the decals and the way they settle matter.
The surface must be smooth and glossy. Cut the motif out as closely as possible, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest on a paper towel until it starts to slide freely on the backing. Then slide it into place, soak the excess water up and smooth it with a cotton swab. On the ribbed fabric areas of a biplane a softener helps, pulling the decal down over the surface. Once it has dried perfectly, spray the model with matte varnish.
This is an accessory. The kit, paints and varnishes are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
