The Fokker F.VIIb/3m Southern Cross plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Valom. The famous three-engine airliner.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the three-engine airliner Fokker F.VIIb/3m in the Southern Cross finish, in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Valom. The moldings come with photo-etched and resin parts and decals recalling one particular historical machine.
The Fokker F.VIIb/3m was a three-engine high-wing monoplane of the 1920s, powered by three radial engines. The particular machine named Southern Cross became famous for its long-distance flights, among them the first crossing of the Pacific from the United States to Australia, made in 1928 by the crew of Charles Kingsford-Smith.
Glue the plastic parts with a thin model cement; wash the resin parts before gluing and use cyanoacrylate glue. The metal look of the fuselage and the wings comes out well after a base coat and an airbrush; pay attention to the bracing and to the landing gear struts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
