Fw 190A-4 conversion set in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer AML — resin parts for rebuilding a kit of the A-3 version into the following production version, the A-4.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin conversion set from the Czech manufacturer AML in 1:72 scale serves to rebuild a kit of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-3 fighter into the A-4 version. It is an accessory for a base kit, so the aircraft model is not in the package.
The Fw 190A-4 followed the A-3 version at the turn of 1942 and 1943. Outwardly it differed from its predecessor above all in a change of equipment, the characteristic recognition feature being the short antenna mast at the top of the vertical tail, linked to the installation of a newer radio set. It is exactly these small but well documented differences that decide whether a model matches a particular aircraft and period, so the conversion will be appreciated by anyone who builds from photographs of real aircraft.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw and sand the marks down. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue and run filler into any small gaps. Before painting, look up a photograph of the aircraft you have chosen, as the schemes and field modifications on the A-4 version varied considerably.
The set is an accessory; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
