Responsibility details are not available.
The General Aviation GA-43 was an American single-engine airliner of the early 1930s, associated with the name of the designer Clark. For its day it was a modern machine: an all-metal cantilever low-wing monoplane with retractable landing gear and an enclosed passenger cabin, that is with features that were only beginning to establish themselves on airliners. The series built was small, but that makes the subject all the more interesting for a collection, because it shows the transition from strut-braced biplanes to modern airliner construction. A few machines went outside the United States as well, and some of them served in a conversion for operation from water.
This is a kit, that is a set of parts to be assembled and painted. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the exact extent of the parts, the decals and the marking variants are given by the instructions supplied in the package.
Cut the surplus material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder down; choose the glue to suit the material of the parts. Try the parts dry before gluing, as with smaller production runs it pays to expect some fine-tuning of the joints. Wash and degrease the model before painting. The smooth metal surfaces of the subject call for an even finish, so apply a base coat to them and level out any unevenness before painting.
Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
