A resin figure of a fighter pilot of the First World War period, intended for German and Austro-Hungarian aircraft, in 1:72 scale from the brand Aerobonus. The man in period leather flight gear will complement a model of a biplane or a scene at a field airfield.
During the First World War the pilots of the Western and the Eastern Front flew open biplanes without a cabin. They protected themselves with a leather jacket, a helmet and flying goggles. The figure captures the typical appearance of a fighter pilot of the Central Powers.
The figure is cast in resin, so before gluing wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts and carefully cut off the casting blocks. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and sand with respiratory protection. It is advisable to apply a primer first for adhesion and to paint the figure with a brush, with the emphasis on the face and the folds of the clothing; a final wash will bring out the details.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin casting. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
