A set of small plastic figures in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. It represents the historical crew of a German antitank rifle of the Second World War. The figures are meant to be assembled and painted and serve to bring dioramas and combat scenes in a small scale to life. The exact number of figures and poses is given by the contents of the package.
The antitank rifle was a large-caliber hand-held firearm meant for fighting lightly armored vehicles in the early phases of the war. The crew consisted of a gunner and an assistant; as the armor protection of tanks grew it gradually lost its effect and was replaced by more powerful means. The figures capture the typical appearance and equipment of the infantry of that period.
Separate the small parts from the sprue carefully and clean up the mold seams. Given the small scale, brush painting works well, with the emphasis on the uniform, the equipment and the shades of the skin, together with a fine dark wash to pick out the folds. The figures can be set into a diorama along with vehicles of the same scale.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
