A collector model of the EC-665 Tiger attack helicopter in the German UHT version with the serial 9825 in 1:72 scale from the maker Easy Model. The model is finished: it is supplied assembled, painted and marked, so it is usable as soon as it is unpacked. Nothing is glued or sprayed.
The Tiger was created as a European attack helicopter with the emphasis on low weight and a durable airframe, which is why its construction is largely of composites. The crew sit in tandem and two turboshaft engines provide the power. The German UHT version serves for supporting ground forces and for reconnaissance; the armament is carried on pylons at the sides of the fuselage and the sensor equipment is placed above the rotor mast, so that the machine can observe from behind cover of the terrain.
Models of the same type are told apart by the serial of the machine, which is applied on the model as well. If you collect particular machines, check the number given in the product name, because the finish can look very similar at first glance. In a display case a pair of machines of the same type looks good standing side by side turned slightly differently, so that the silhouette is visible from the front as well as from the side. For a dark finish it holds that a lighter shelf background helps.
The model is supplied finished, assembled and painted. No glue or paints are needed. Protect it from dust, from knocks on the rotor blades and from direct sun.
