1:72 Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc landing flaps is an Eduard photo-etched set with landing flaps for a model of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc fighter in 1:72 scale. An accessory to a plastic kit, not a model of the aircraft.

A photo-etched metal set that deals with the landing flaps on a model of the Hurricane Mk.IIc. Flaps are among the parts where the difference between plastic and photo-etch shows best: a real flap is a few millimeters thick, whereas an injection-molded plastic part in 1:72 scale necessarily comes out far heavier. A replacement in photo-etched sheet also makes it possible to show the flaps in the lowered position, that is as the aircraft commonly stood on the ground. The manufacturer is the Czech company Eduard.
The Hawker Hurricane was a British single-seat fighter of mixed construction, whose fuselage was based on a tube frame covered with fabric, while the wing on the later batches was all-metal. The Mk.IIc version differed from the earlier machines above all in its armament, which consisted of four 20 mm cannons instead of machine guns in the wing. Together with a more powerful engine of the Merlin family, that made it a universally usable type, applicable in attacks on ground targets and in night operations as well. The design of the Hurricane was simpler and easier to repair than that of more modern fighters, which also affected its long service career.
The original plastic flaps have to be cut out, which is the most delicate part of the whole job: proceed in small steps with a sharp scalpel and clean the cut up with a file, not with force. Bend the photo-etched parts along the score lines over a straight edge, ideally in a simple jig. Paint the inner sides of the flaps and the space in the wing before you close the assembly. Degrease the metal before painting and use a primer for metal. Finally, a light bringing out of the stiffeners in a darker shade helps, so that the structure of the flap stands out even on a small area.
It is not a kit of the aircraft. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
