A photo-etched detail set from Yahu Models in 1:72 scale for the Romanian IAR-80 fighter. The set usually combines photo-etched parts with canopy masks and serves to detail a model; it is not a kit on its own.
The IAR-80 was a Romanian low-wing fighter of indigenous design, used during the Second World War on the Eastern Front and in the defense of Romanian airspace. It was a surprisingly modern and agile machine of home production, one of the few independently developed fighters of the smaller European states of that time.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and clean them up. The masks provided shorten the painting of the canopy frames. Apply the colored photo-etched items directly; degrease the metal ones and go over them with a primer. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
This is a detail accessory, not a model on its own. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
