An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet ISU-130 heavy tank destroyer in 1:72 scale from PST. The package holds plastic sprues, decals and assembly instructions. The model is made up of a larger number of parts, above all on the running gear and the individual link tracks, and it is intended to be glued and painted.
The ISU-130 was an experimental Soviet heavy tank destroyer from the end of the Second World War, built on the chassis of the ISU series of heavy self-propelled guns. In place of the standard howitzer it carried a powerful gun of 130 mm caliber derived from a naval weapon, which was meant to improve penetration against well-armored targets. The vehicle remained at the prototype stage and never entered series production.
Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic. Finish the running gear and the tracks before you close the hull. We recommend a primer coat and an airbrush; you will create the weathering with dark washes and dust pigments on the lower areas and the track tread.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
