Jagdpanzer 38 Hetzer - Prague May 1945 1:72 is a decal set with the markings of vehicles from the Prague Uprising. It is not a model: the decals serve to finish a Hetzer model already built in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of water-slide decals from the small manufacturer ROP o.s. in 1:72 scale, devoted to the Jagdpanzer 38 (Hetzer) tank destroyers of the Prague Uprising in May 1945. It contains the markings of vehicles that appeared in the streets of Prague in the last days of the war. It is not a model and not a kit: it is an accessory applied to a Hetzer model that has already been built and painted, and that model has to be obtained separately. The exact number of schemes is given in the instruction sheet in the package.
The Jagdpanzer 38, better known by the nickname Hetzer, was a small German tank destroyer on the chassis of a Czechoslovak tank, built at the end of the war in the Prague armaments works among others. During the Prague Uprising at the beginning of May 1945 some of these vehicles, still unfinished or captured, fell into the hands of the insurgents and fought in the colors of the resistance. That created unusual markings that are attractive to modelers: a combination of German equipment with the improvised insignia and lettering of the uprising.
For modelers building the Hetzer in 1:72 scale who want to finish the model in the period Czech markings of the Prague Uprising instead of the decals from the box, and for collectors interested in the end of the Second World War in the Czech lands.
The package contains decals with instructions. The model, paints and glue are not included.
