Responsibility details are not available.
A finished collector model of the M113A2 tracked carrier in 1:72 scale. The maker supplies it completely assembled, painted and with the markings of the unit named in the product name, so what you buy is not the work but the result. There is no point talking here about building, glue, filler or primer: the model is finished and it goes with a display case straight away.
The M113A2 is a modernization step of the older M113A1. The changes concentrated on operational reliability and durability: a reworked cooling system, revised running gear suspension and the fuel tanks moved from inside the hull to the rear of the vehicle. It is the external tanks in particular that are the most conspicuous mark of the version, and in 1:72 scale they can be made out on the model at first glance. The vehicles of support and supply battalions carried out tasks of back-up rather than direct combat, so they are more often met with more modest equipment.
The M113 family is rewarding for a collection precisely because it is so broad: carriers, command vehicles, versions of support units. Placed side by side in one scale they show the small differences in equipment far more plainly than a description does. A finished model has the advantage that you can extend a collection evenly and without the risk that a part-built example will stay in a drawer for years. Keep the model out of direct sun, wipe the dust off with a soft brush and, when carrying it, support it by the hull rather than by small external parts.
The model is supplied finished: assembled and painted. Nothing is glued or painted, and no glue or paints are needed.
