Injection-molded plastic kit of the modern American M1A1 main battle tank in its HA (Heavy Armor) version, in 1:72 scale from Revell. The assembled model is roughly 140 mm long. The box offers a rotating turret with hatches that can be displayed open and enclosed decals with marking options.
The M1 Abrams is an American main battle tank introduced from the 1980s onward. The M1A1 version brought a 120 mm smoothbore gun and further improvements; the HA (Heavy Armor) form had reinforced turret armor. The Abrams is marked out by its gas turbine, strong crew protection and a modern fire control system, and it ranks among the best-known tanks in service today.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the running gear before you close up the hull. Lay down a primer before the color coats; an airbrush is ideal. Modern American vehicles typically wear a uniform desert sand or the NATO three-color scheme; tune the weathering with dust pigments and restrained washes, as modern tanks tend to be less dirty.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
