Responsibility details are not available.
Kit of the US post-war M41A1/A2 Walker Bulldog light tank in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian brand Armory. The box holds five sprues of gray plastic, photo-etched parts and one resin part, namely a heavy machine gun with an ammunition box. The tracks are of the link-and-length type. The decals offer two marking options: the US Army in Panama in 1962 and Vietnam in 1968. The instructions run to six pages and seventeen steps.
The Walker Bulldog replaced the previous generation of light tank in the US Army and carried a 76 mm gun in a fully rotating turret. It was named after a general who died in Korea. It was conceived as a fast and agile machine for reconnaissance and for tasks where a medium tank would be needlessly heavy, and it was the balance between decent firepower and low weight that gave it a long career. The US Army later withdrew it from the front line, but dozens of countries went on using it, and these tanks won their greatest fame in Southeast Asia.
This is a short-run kit, so expect flash, mainly around the road wheels, and softer detail in places. On top of that the parts are not numbered on the sprues, so go by the drawing in the instructions as you build and sort the sprues out in advance. Glue and paint the wheels and tracks before seating them on the hull; you will not get between them later.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
