General Dynamics F-111 1:72 mask set — BASIC level, New Ware

A self-adhesive mask set in fine Japanese kabuki tape, shaped by precise die-cutting. It speeds up and sharpens the masking of glazing when airbrushing. It is intended for models of the tactical bomber General Dynamics F-111 in 1:72 scale.

The BASIC level

The basic level of the set covers the canopy glazing and the other clear parts from the outside, plus the wheel rims. An ideal choice when you only want to mask the transparent surfaces quickly and cleanly before spraying.

Use and tips

Degrease the glazing first and dry it. Lift the masks off the sheet with tweezers, lay them on the part and press them down carefully all the way round, so that paint does not creep under the edge. Spray in thin coats and, once dry, lift the masks off carefully. Kabuki tape can be shaped into curves, holds its shape and leaves no adhesive.
