The Me 163 B-1a in postwar British markings (1:72, Easy Model) is a finished assembled and painted model of the rocket aircraft. Nothing is glued or painted.

A collector model supplied assembled and painted from the factory. Gluing, filling, spraying and the application of markings all fall away, so it is enough to unpack the model and stand it in a display case. It is not a kit, even though the 1:72 scale matches ordinary plastic kits.
The Messerschmitt Me 163 was a rocket-powered interceptor with no conventional tail behind the fuselage, with a swept wing and with a very short period of powered flight. Once the propellants were used up it carried on as a glider and landed on a retractable skid, because the wheeled dolly was jettisoned after takeoff. The design was extremely compact and operating it was exceptionally demanding, among other things because of the aggressive components of its propellant system. After the end of the war the machines that were secured were taken over for technical evaluation and some carried the markings of a new operator, and it is exactly such a standard that this model captures.
The Me 163 was a small aircraft in reality too, so a model in 1:72 scale is genuinely tiny and feels delicate in the hand. That makes careful handling all the more important: the most sensitive points are the wingtips, the rudder and the canopy. In a display case it looks good standing slightly in front of larger aircraft, where its size stands out as a comparison.
Take hold of the model by the fuselage from below, never by the wings or the rudder. Remove the dust with a soft brush, without water and without cleaning agents. Leave direct sun out of it, as it changes the shade of the applied paint and the look of the clear parts.
