Není. Jde o sadu barevných obtisků s plastickou 3D tištěnou vrstvou, které se nanášejí do interiéru už postaveného modelu. Samotný model součástí balení není.

Leptaný set je tenký plech, který se musí ohýbat, lepit a nabarvit. Tyhle obtisky jsou už barevné a mají vlastní plastickou strukturu, takže odpadá jak barvení drobných přístrojů, tak práce s ohýbačkou.

Sada je navržená pro tvar konkrétní stavebnice a její interiér. Na model jiného výrobce obvykle přesně nedosedne, proto si před nákupem ověřte, jaký kit stavíte.

Nutný není, ale u členitých ploch pomůže obtisku dosednout do reliéfu. Nanášejte ho po malých dávkách a nechte působit — plastická tištěná vrstva snese méně než běžný tenký obtisk.
