An injection-molded plastic kit of the UH-60J(SP) rescue helicopter in 1:72 scale from Hasegawa. It is a special edition that brings decals for the celebratory scheme marking the 60th anniversary of the rescue unit, including the Toki emblem. The box holds photo-etched parts for the fine antennas.
The UH-60J is the Japanese version of the proven Black Hawk family of multi-purpose helicopters, adapted for search and rescue duties. It serves with the Japanese armed forces, where it flies mainly rescue missions in difficult terrain and over the sea. It carries a distinctive, highly visible rescue color scheme.
Mask the cabin glazing before spraying, lay the paint on with an airbrush and add the photo-etched antennas only at the end of the build. A striking anniversary scheme shows best on a smooth gloss surface; settle the decals with a decal softener.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
