Aber 1:700 – a set of 9 turned metal barrels of 406 mm caliber for models of the battleship Missouri replaces the plastic barrels of the main battery.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an accessory for building plastic models in 1:700 scale, not a standalone model. The package holds nine turned metal barrels of 406 mm caliber, that is the complete main armament of the American battleship Missouri (three triple turrets). It is made by the Polish brand Aber.
The metal barrels replace the plastic parts from the kit. On dominant 406 mm guns the difference is exceptionally plain — the parting seam is gone, the muzzle is clean and on the axis, and the model gains a realistic solidity.
Cut off the plastic barrel, drill a hole in the remaining part of the turret and glue the metal barrel in with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal before painting and use a base coat.
This is a detail accessory, not a model of a ship. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
