Responsibility details are not available.
Messerschmitt was a German aircraft factory whose fighters are among the most frequently built subjects in plastic modeling. 1:72 is the most widely used scale for aircraft: a finished model takes up little room in a display case and is easily added to a collection among machines of the same size.
An unassembled plastic kit in 1:72 scale, which the manufacturer sells under the trade name Joypack. The parts are held on sprues, so before building they have to be cut off, the mating surfaces cleaned up and the seating of the main assemblies dry-fitted. Have sprue cutters, a sharp blade, a file with abrasive paper and cement for plastic ready.
In this scale clean work is what decides: excess glue and a roughly sanded joint show more on a small surface than on a large model. Finish the cockpit before you glue the fuselage halves together, because afterwards you cannot reach it. Mask the canopy before spraying, not once the paint has dried. Apply the paint in thin coats, so that the fine engraved detail stays legible, and leave the small landing gear parts separate until the end of the build; they are easier to mask and paint that way.
For modelers who collect German aircraft in 1:72 scale and have several plastic kits behind them. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints, glue, filler and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
