An accessory set of parts for a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109D-1 fighter in 1:72 scale. It refines details that an injection-molded kit can only manage roughly.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was among the most widespread fighters of the Second World War and was built in a long line of versions. The D-1 version is one of the early, prewar ones: it preceded the widely built E version and stayed in the front line only briefly, because newer machines quickly pushed it out. That is exactly why it is an interesting form for modelers, one you do not come across on the shelves as often as the later types.
It is an accessory set of parts for a Bf 109D-1 model in 1:72 scale. Accessory sets of this kind usually replace parts where injection-molded plastic is at the limit of what it can do in shape or thickness. Go through the maker's instructions and offer the parts up dry before building.
The parts are not polystyrene, so they are glued with cyanoacrylate glue; cement for plastic models will not bond them. Cut off any excess material with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the rest down, so that you do not sand away the shape of the part itself. Before painting, wash and degrease the parts and apply a primer. In 1:72 scale the parts are small, so have tweezers ready and apply the glue from the tip of a wire rather than straight from the bottle.
An accessory set is supplied. The kit, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
