A set of self-adhesive masking templates; it is not a kit. It is intended for plastic models of the supersonic MiG-19 fighter and its licensed Chinese version, the Shenyang F-6 (J-6), in 1:72 scale. The templates follow the canopy frames exactly and allow the cockpit to be painted quickly and cleanly.
The MiG-19 (NATO reporting name Farmer) was the first Soviet production fighter capable of supersonic flight in level flight. It was powered by a pair of jet engines and carried powerful gun armament. In China it was built under license as the Shenyang J-6 (the F-6 for export), and in that form it served with many countries long after production ended in the USSR.
Peel the template off, lay it on the glass and press it down following the frames. Spray the frame color first and the upper camouflage once it is dry. The masks come away cleanly. For soft transitions, use an airbrush.
The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
