This set of colored three-dimensional decals on decal paper details the cockpit of a model of the light Mil Mi-2 helicopter in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit of the helicopter but an accessory for a plastic model. The decals have real raised relief, so the instrument panels, the consoles and the seats take on a three-dimensional look.
The Mil Mi-2 is a light twin-engine general-purpose helicopter of Soviet design whose series production took place in Poland. It served in civil and military roles and was widespread in the Eastern Bloc.
Cut the parts out, soak them briefly and transfer them onto the surface like ordinary decals; the relief adapts to the shape. Leave out the softener, as it would damage the printed resin of the parts. Painting the interior by hand falls away, and gentle shading and a flat varnish to even things out are enough. The cockpit glazing lets the interior be seen well, so careful seating pays off.
This is an accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
