This is a resin accessory, not an airplane kit. The set holds boarding ladders for a model of the two-seat MiG-25PU in 1:72 scale. It is the version without wheel chocks; the manufacturer has the chocks in a separate set for the same type and scale, so you can choose according to how you want to present the model.
The MiG-25 is a tall aircraft and you cannot get into the cockpit without a ladder standing against it; on the two-seat PU trainer version a second station is added, so ladders belong to the typical picture of the machine on the apron. Even in a small scale such a detail makes sense: a vertical element at the side of the fuselage gives the model its scale and suggests the work going on around the aircraft, without having to build an extensive diorama.
Wash the resin parts in warm soapy water first so that the mold release residue is removed, otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a razor saw, never snap them, and sand the cut with respiratory protection, as resin dust must not be inhaled. It is glued with super glue, that is, with cyanoacrylate. Apply a primer before painting. In 1:72 scale the parts are very fine, so work on a light surface, use tweezers and dose the wash sparingly so that the structure does not disappear.
The set is an accessory for a model, not an aircraft kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
