Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Italian Piaggio P.1HH HammerHead unmanned aircraft (UAV) in 1:72 scale, in the demonstrator configuration, from A&A Models. It is a newer and less usual subject: the model is molded in gray plastic, the glazing is normally handled with clear film and the decals offer Italian markings. The exact contents of the box and the number of schemes are not stated here.
The P.1HH HammerHead is an Italian unmanned aircraft of the MALE class (medium-altitude long-endurance), created by converting the successful Piaggio P.180 Avanti business aircraft. It keeps the characteristic layout with two pusher turboprop engines and long slender wings. The demonstrator served to prove the concept of unmanned reconnaissance and surveillance work: it was a development and demonstration platform, not a production combat asset.
Join the plastic with thin modeling cement. In the smaller 1:72 scale, take care to clean up the parting seams on the slender fuselage and the wings neatly. Attach the clear cockpit film only after painting, using super glue or a glue for clear parts, so that it does not fog. The smooth surfaces show to advantage with a good primer and an even coat from an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
