1:72 Firing work KZ-2 1955 is a resin kit of a Czechoslovak postwar fortification work from ROP o.s., intended for more experienced modelers and collectors of fortifications.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin kit captures a Czechoslovak postwar reinforced concrete firing work of the KZ-2 type from the 1950s. The model is cast in resin and is intended for more experienced modelers. The exact number of parts and the contents of the package follow the manufacturer's particular set.
The KZ works (machine gun works in reinforced concrete) belong to the postwar building of Czechoslovak fortifications in the time of the Cold War. They were small, resistant firing points for machine gun defense, following on in concept from the light fortifications of the First Republic but worked out to the new structural standards of the 1950s. The works made up a network of fire along the state border.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. You will capture the texture of the concrete with gray shades using pigments and washes, and the surrounding terrain can be rounded out with static grass and sand into a small diorama.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
