This is not a tank model but a detail set. It brings resin road wheels for the German Panther medium tank in the Ausf.D and Ausf.A versions in 1:72 scale. The castings carry a fine texture on the rims and the rubber tires and replace the parts from the base kit; depending on the version the set also covers the mounting of the wheels.
The Panther was one of the most important German medium tanks of the Second World War. It was marked out by sloped armor, a long 75mm gun and the interleaved arrangement of its large road wheels, which is characteristic of the model and important to the way it looks.
Wash the wheels free of release agent and separate them from the casting blocks. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the rubber tires in a dark shade separately from the metal rim; a dusting of pigment and mud effects on the running gear finish the job. The set is made for the usual 1:72 kit of the Panther Ausf.A/D.
The set contains only the resin wheel parts. The tank kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
