1:72 Opened fuel access panel, late version, for the Fairchild A-10 A/C Thunderbolt II from Quickboost is a resin set of the service cover hinged open.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set in 1:72 scale from Quickboost. It holds the fuel access service panel in the opened (hinged back) state, in the rendition for the late version of the Fairchild A-10 A/C Thunderbolt II attack aircraft. The late version differs from the early one in details of the airframe, which is why this variant is intended precisely for the later machines.
It is not an aircraft model but an accessory. An opened panel reveals the interior structure and creates the impression of an aircraft in servicing. It will serve splendidly for a diorama with ground crew or for a striking display-case installation.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut them from the casting blocks and glue them into the airframe with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand the transitions down (wear respiratory protection) and use a primer before painting; pick the interior spaces out with a wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
