Responsibility details are not available.
A resin model of the German Pantherturm defensive position in 1:72 scale from Hauler. It is a Panther tank turret set on a steel base (Stahluntersatz) which served as a fixed fighting position. The set holds cast resin parts, a turned metal gun barrel and a small photo-etched fret, and a base for easily creating a small scene is usually included. It is not a tank kit in its own right but a fortification for a diorama.
The Pantherturm was a German field fortification of the Second World War. A production Panther tank turret with its production armament was set on a lower box, either steel (Stahluntersatz) or concrete, and dug into the ground as a static fighting position. These positions were built among other places in Italy and on the Eastern Front, where they made up for the shortage of mobile tanks and defended key routes.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release agent residue and cut the casting blocks off. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways while sanding. Drill the muzzle of the turned metal barrel out carefully. We recommend a primer, then camouflage and weathering with washes and pigments for the impression of dug-in concrete and steel.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
