Aber 1:72 – a photo-etched set of side skirts (Schürzen) for models of the Panther Ausf. G/F and Jagdpanther replaces thick plastic skirts.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an accessory for building plastic models in 1:72 scale, not a standalone model. The set is made from etched metal (brass) and holds the side protective plates (Schürzen) for the German Panther vehicles in the Ausf. G and F versions and for the Jagdpanther tank destroyer. It is made by the Polish brand Aber.
Side skirts in plastic tend to be disproportionately thick and lack the thinness of the real plates. The etched metal parts have a realistic thickness and sharp detail; on top of that they can be realistically dented or bent as though damaged in action.
Separate the parts carefully from the fret, bend them to match the real thing if you like and attach them with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a base coat; a photo-etch bending tool helps with the bending.
This is a detail accessory, not a model of a vehicle. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
