1:72 Soviet Anti-Tank Rifle Team

Soviet anti-tank rifle team 1:72 (Zvezda)

A set of unpainted plastic figures of a Soviet anti-tank rifle team of the Second World War in 1:72 scale. The set captures the crew of an anti-tank rifle in combat poses and is intended for dioramas and tabletop wargames. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.

The real subject

Soviet anti-tank rifles were one of the infantry's answers to armored vehicles, especially in the early period of the fighting on the Eastern Front. The long, heavy weapon called for a two-man crew, a gunner and a loader. The figures capture the typical deployment of such a team in the field.

Building and painting tips

Separate the fine parts of the weapon and the figures from the sprue carefully and clean up the parting seams. We recommend a base coat of primer and brush painting; bring out the uniforms with highlighting and shading with a wash. The team comes into its own when placed in a common firing position on a diorama base.
