This is a laser-cut card accessory kit from the Czech maker Brassica in 1:72 scale. It represents the classic PNS newspaper and tobacco kiosk of the kind once seen on streets and at railway stations. The ver.A designation refers to a particular graphic version of the kiosk. The accessory brings town and railway station dioramas to life beautifully and gives a scene a period atmosphere.
PNS kiosks (of the postal newspaper service) were a typical element of towns and transport hubs. Newspapers, magazines, tobacco and small goods were sold in them. For dioramas they are a rewarding subject, because they bring a human scale and a story into a scene.
Punch the card parts out of the sheet, sand the edges and glue them with a suitable glue for paper or with a dispersion glue. It pays to paint the model before setting it into a diorama, and to weather it for a faithful worn look. Work with the card in dry conditions so that the parts do not warp.
This is an accessory for a diorama, not a vehicle or an aircraft. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
