An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern German TPz 1 Fuchs wheeled armored personnel carrier in the A4 version, in 1:72 scale from Revell. According to the manufacturer, the package contains plastic parts for building this six-wheeled Bundeswehr vehicle and enclosed decals with variants of the markings.
The Transportpanzer 1 Fuchs (Fox) is a wheeled armored personnel carrier with 6x6 drive, which became one of the main wheeled vehicles of the German army. It is amphibious and, thanks to its roomy hull compartment, serves in many roles, from carrying infantry and materiel through engineer and signals tasks to reconnaissance. The A4 version is one of the modernized forms introduced into Bundeswehr service.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish the running gear and the axles before you close up the hull. Apply a primer before painting; an airbrush is ideal. The three-color NATO camouflage (bronze green, black, brown) suits postwar German equipment; fine-tune the weathering with dark washes into the pressings and fine dust pigments on the chassis and the wheels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
