Type 4 Ke-Nu 1:72 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese light tank of the Second World War from IBG Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale brings the Japanese Type 4 Ke-Nu light tank. The set holds photo-etched parts and decals for two marking options. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Type 4 Ke-Nu came about during the Second World War by rebuilding the Type 95 Ha-Go light tank, onto whose hull the larger turret of the Type 97 Chi-Ha tank with a 57 mm gun was fitted. The aim was to strengthen the firepower of the aging light tanks. Only a small number of vehicles were converted and most stayed for the defense of the Japanese home islands; some also reached the Asian mainland.
Bond the small photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Assemble and test the running gear before painting. After the base coat from an airbrush, pick the rivets and details out with washes and add dust effects to the running gear for a convincing look of a vehicle in the field.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
