The set holds one figure of an operator of the Ukrainian special forces, again named by the call sign of a particular man. It is told from ordinary infantry by the make-up of its equipment: a lighter load-bearing system, a helmet with mounting rails and kit arranged rather for quick movement than for holding a position for long. The casting comes from Ukrainian production and is made by printing in resin.
Special units differ from line formations in their appearance as well. They often put their kit together individually, so on two men of the same group you will find a different holster, a different hold on the weapon and a different placing of the pouches. It is precisely this unevenness that scanning captures better than a sculptor's hand, which tends to average the details out. The figure therefore comes across as a particular man, not as a generic type of soldier.
The material sands well but stands bending less well, so handle the thin parts carefully and do not try to straighten them cold. If a part is slightly deformed, a short bath in hot water and shaping while warm will help. The small areas of the face deserve thinned paint in several coats.
The package carries only the figure, with no finish and no base, unless stated otherwise.
