Decals imitating stickers on glass, that is the graphics that businesses stick on the inside of a shop window or on glass doors. The accessory is aimed at one particular surface of a diorama that is commonly left empty and yet is clearly visible in every urban scene. It is neither a model nor a kit.
A shop window in a model is typically clear plastic or an empty opening. Yet glass is the only thing through which the viewer sees into a building, and as soon as it is completely clean it stops looking like glass. A small sticker gives it a surface back: it gives it a reflection, interrupts the view and suggests that someone is working behind it. At the same time it is the simplest way to fill a large glazed area without having to furnish the interior of a shop.
Glass is smooth and glossy, so a decal holds well even without a preparatory clear coat, but that is exactly why every mistake shows on it. Work with clean hands or in gloves, because a fingerprint on a clear part is more visible than on plaster. Stick them strictly on the inside, the way a real business does, and let the decal dry completely before fitting the part into the building. A matte coat does not belong here; the glass is to stay glossy. If you want to suggest old and dusty shop windows, add dust only around the frame, not onto the area with the lettering.
An accessory for building dioramas, not a kit. The glazed part, the building and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
