Resin bump stops in the late guise for the Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H mid to J in 1:35 scale; the contents are enough for two vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit but a resin detail accessory for models of the medium tank Pz.Kpfw. IV in 1:35 scale. The set replaces the bump stops of the swing arms of the running gear in the late guise and according to the name is intended for versions from the Ausf. H of mid production up to the Ausf. J. The contents of the package are enough for two vehicles.
A bump stop limits the extreme travel of a road wheel arm and is welded to the side of the hull, that is exactly in the band that is visible on a finished model between the wheels and the track. The design of the bump stop changed during production, so choosing the correct type is one of the details by which a well-chosen production batch is recognized.
First wash the castings in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent so that mold release agent residue from the mold is removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutting disc and level the area with a file; protect your airways when sanding resin. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). On a model the bump stops are fitted before the road wheels go on, otherwise you will not reach them afterwards. Paint them together with the lower hull and then work pigments into the area around them, because this is a place where the most mud and dust collects.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
