Spiricle Strikers are fictional piloted combat machines from the world of Sakura Wars. Their design joins retro-futuristic technology with the shapes of armor: a massive torso, pronounced shoulders and the mechanics of the joints acknowledged on the surface. The designation Prototype Obu refers to a particular machine within the series, and the attribute in parentheses to the pilot the machine is assigned to in the fiction. The real subject is purely fictional, so period fidelity is not an issue with it, but the cleanness of the shapes and the quality of the surface are.
Nip the parts off with cutters at a distance from the part and clean the sprue nub up by trimming or sanding, which will lower the risk of white scarring of the plastic. With snap-fit joints it pays off to try the build dry and only then to secure the joints if need be with a drop of liquid cement for plastic. If you want to paint the model, degrease the parts first and apply a primer; smooth glossy surfaces then hold the paint better. A thin paneliner or a wash will accentuate the panel lines, and a uniform final varnish (matte, satin or gloss) will unify the surface of parts from different sprues.
The model is supplied unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
