Hurricane Mk.II 3D full-color Instrument Panel 1:32 from the firm Kits-World is a full-color instrument panel with a relief on decal paper, intended for the cockpit of the British fighter aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory that replaces the hand-painting of dials as well as work with a photo-etched part. The panel is printed in color and in layers, so the frames of the instruments stand out above the surface once it is applied. It is transferred with water like a decal, so it calls for neither glue nor the bending of metal.
The Hawker Hurricane Mk.II is a British single-seat fighter aircraft of the Second World War with a mixed construction of the fuselage. The cockpit has straight side walls and a clearly laid-out instrument panel, which is clearly visible with the canopy slid back. The particular subversion within the Mk.II series and the contents of the package are stated by the maker.
The procedure is the usual one: paint, varnish over with a clear gloss varnish, soak briefly in lukewarm water, let it rest, slide it off the paper into place, straighten it and draw the water off. Watch out for the amount of softener. With layered printing the opposite applies to what holds for a large flat decal on a fuselage: a heavy layer of an aggressive product can soften the relief so much that it creases and the frames are drawn together. Apply a thin film, then, let it work in and repeat the step after drying if need be. During the few minutes while the softener is acting, do not touch the element at all; at that stage the decal creases and looks ruined, but while drying it straightens itself out and adheres to the surface. Push the air out from under the film only afterward, otherwise silvering is a risk. The close belongs to thin layers of matte varnish.
An accessory for a model, not a kit. A model, paints and varnishes are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
