Fokker D.VII 3D color seat belt decals 1:72 from Kits-World take the place of painting the harness by hand in the open cockpit of the biplane.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Kits-World adds color seat belts to the cockpit of a model of the German Fokker D.VII fighter biplane in 1:72 scale. They are full-color decals with a raised relief, applied with water to the seat from the kit, with no gluing, bending or sanding. On aircraft from the First World War this accessory carries exceptional weight: the cockpit is open, the seat is visible from above on a finished model with nothing in the way, and an empty seat stands out at once.
The Fokker D.VII was a single-engine fighter biplane with a fuselage of steel tubing covered in fabric and a thick-section wing with no external bracing wires. The cockpit is open and spare: a simple seat, a few instruments and a prominent harness. It is precisely those light belts against the dark interior that are the detail which catches the eye on a model straight away.
Before you reach for the decal, prepare the surface. The seat has to be painted, perfectly dry, free of grease from your fingers and coated with clear gloss varnish. On a rough matte surface a decal will never settle. Do the positioning itself while there is still water under the film: in it the decal still slides freely and can be turned and centered with a soft brush. As soon as the water has run off, any further movement will tear the film. With long belts, check dry first where each section will run.
This is a decal set, not a kit and not a finished model. Paints, varnishes and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
